Obituary of Michael Wroblewski
Michael S. Wroblewski passed away on March 6, 2021 after a long battle with a chronic disease. Born July 25, 1961 in Niagara Falls, NY, he is the son of Reika (McGraw) Wroblewski and the late Alfred “Al” Wroblewski. Michael worked for the Small Business Association for over 25 years as a ‘Loss Verification Claims Specialist’ for National & Local Disasters. He played a significant role in both Hurricanes Katrina and Sandy. Michael traveled all over the world and was trilingual in English, Spanish and French. He was a skilled mason and carpenter who could build and/or fix anything with the primitive practice of using a wheel, a pole and a pulley. He was a certified Scuba Diver instructor and had a passion for the belief that “Life is both endless and subject to impermanence, suffering and uncertainty”.
Besides his mother, Michael is survived by his daughter Sophia Belle and predeceased by his daughter Lydia Rose; Siblings Robert (Trish) Wroblewski, Robin (John) Kopacz, Peter (Lisa) Wroblewski and his twin Michele (LaVerne) Bowen, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition, he is survived by his wife Brenda (Zentz) Wroblewski and Step-Son Garrett Jones; cherished friend of Ralph, Steve, Danny, Shane, Patrick and all of his SBA Family.
There will be a ‘Celebration of Life’ memorial on Friday, March 19th from 1-5PM at the Rapids Fire Hall.
