Obituary of Jeffery M. Harrington
Jeffery Harrington passed away on March 1, 2021 under the care of Niagara Hospice and his loving family. He was born on October 13, 1951 a son of William and Marjorie (Cavagnaro) Harrington.
Jeff was a graduate of Roy Hart class of 1970. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a truck driver for Scranton Thruway Builders retiring in 1999. Jeff loved golfing and his special Harley Davidson motorcycle. He enjoyed car shows and his 55 Chevy, Friday night races with the Jonsie Boys. Jeff also loved playing cards especially Fin and Screw your neighbor (yes that is a card game). Special thanks to his morning coffee gang that kept him going each day, true dedication.
Jeff is survived by his wife of 32 years Barbara (Stowell) Harrington; father to Bradley S. (Amy Marie) Kiff; granddaughter Courtney and grandson Derek whom he loved to the moon and back; siblings William (April) Harrington, Andy Harrington, Donald Harrington, Roy (Heidi) Harrington, Christa Williams, Kevin (Bev) Harrington, Kent Harrington, Nick Harrington, Glenn (Connie) Harrington; sisters-in-law Dianne (Jon) Wiley, Sandy Harrington, Billie Jo Harrington, Kathy Kroldart, Joan Harrington, Lynn Harrington. He is also survived by special friends Carol and John Genet and several nieces and nephews. Jeff was predeceased by his sister Mary Kay Harrington and brothers Steve and David Harrington.
Private services held at the convenience of the family. A memorial for all family and friends will be held at a later date. Very special thanks to our Hospice family- Judy, Susan, and Melissa.
