William R. Tilton passed away on February 28, 2021 at Garden Gate Health Care Facility.  Born in Lockport on April 29, 1927, he was the son of the late William and Mary Ellen White Tilton.  William served in the US Army from 1945-1946 and the US Navy from 1956-1958.  He retired from the US Postal Service in 1989 after 36 years.  William was predeceased by his wife Audrey (nee Geier) Tilton, who passed away on September 27, 2007.

He was the father of Marc, Daniel, Mary Ellen (Greg) Brinker, John (Lynn), Peter (Toni), and the late Jeffrey Tilton.  Grandfather of Katie, Wendy, William, Alex, Justin, Hillary, Stephanie and Daniel and great grandfather of Ryan and Starlynn.

There will be no prior visitation.  A graveside service will be held at Cold Springs Cemetery, Wednesday at 10 am.  Online condolences at www.pruddenandkandt.com.
