Leonard R. Wunderlich passed away February 24, 2021. Born July 15, 1936 in Albion, NY. He was raised by Augusta Weiler. He was a graduate of Akron High School and served in the US Army from 1959-1962. Leonard worked for 29 ½ years at Consolidated Freightways in Tonawanda where he retired as a freight handler. He was a member of Good Shepherd Church in Pendleton and Euchre League at Brauers in Pendleton. Leonard enjoyed playing cards, golfing, sports, and was an avid New York Yankees and Buffalo Bills fan.
Leonard is survived by his wife Elizabeth (Hebeler) Wunderlich; children David (Carol), Michael, Thomas (Kristen), Craig Wunderlich, and Marcia (late Frank) Augugliaro; grandchildren Nathan, Brandon, Aaron Wunderlich, Kari (David) Phillips, Kristine Nye, Justin Nye, Alyssa, Bradley Wunderlich, Wesley and Yasmeen Wunderlich; five great grandchildren.
