Obituary of Alan R. Lynch
Alan R. Lynch passed away on February 18, 2021 in Sister’s of Charity Hospital. He was born on November 8, 1946 in Buffalo, New York a son of Andrew and Ida (Garvey) Lynch.
Alan proudly served our country in the United States Army from 1966-1968.He was a production worker at Harrison Radiator for 30 years retiring in 2006. He enjoyed farming, woodworking and volunteering. Alan was Past Commander of the VFW #2535, member of the American Legion B. Leo Dolan #410 and the Disabled Vietnam Veterans.
He was predeceased by his son Wayne Lynch and sister Arlene Becker. Alan is survived by his daughter Leann (William Reynolds) Taylor; brother Andrew Lynch; grandchildren Adam (Jennifer Lockhart) Taylor, Zachary (Ashley) Taylor; great grandson Jackson Taylor; long time companion Beth Thrall and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call on Sunday February 21, 2021 from 1-4 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home 242 Genesee St. Lockport, NY. Interment will be in Pembroke National Cemetery. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
