Obituary of Mary B. Wintersteen
Mary B. Wintersteen passed away February 13, 2021 in Lockport Rehab & Health Care Center. Born April 2, 1920 in Albion, NY she was a daughter of Mahlon and Gertrude (Prussia) Bennett. Mary was an active member of Lockport United Church of Christ and the Modern Mother’s Club, enjoyed gardening especially flowers, was a fan of both the Buffalo Bills and Sabres. She was predeceased by her husband of 77 years, Charles Wintersteen on August 12, 2020.
Mary is survived by her three sons Bruce (Anne), Douglas (Bonnie), and Peter (Janice); six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by six siblings.
A private family funeral is being held on Monday, February 22nd at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
