Obituary of Agnes M. Wendling

Agnes M. Wendling passed away February 9, 2021 in Millard Fillmore Hospital after a short illness.  Born December 29, 1931 in Springville, NY in the family home on Sharp Street.  Agnes was the daughter and youngest child to Caroline and Edward Underberg.  Agnes was the youngest of 15 children.

Agnes is survived by her children Joan (Thomas) Class, Anthony (Alena) Wendling, Stephen Wendling, Mary (Richard) Porter, Raymond (Kimberly) Wendling, Cynthia (Robert) Pruitt, Caroline (Russ) Robinson, Kenneth (Rebecka) Wendling, predeceased child Elaine Delia Wendling and Charles J. Wendling her spouse. Also predeceased by sisters and brothers.

Grandmother of 20 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.  Predeceased by her siblings Leona Rucker, Evelyn Schweickert, Albert Underberg, Ruth Ott, Inez Schweickert, Sister St. Edward, Irma Nunweiler, Mary Kruse, Marge Wagner, Angeline Ott, Joseph Underberg, Albert Underberg, Alberta Hanel, Theresa Wagner.  Survived by Sister in-law Betty Underberg, Mabel Underberg and Ray Hanel; also many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday February 15, 2021 at 10 AM in Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, 5442 Tonawanda Creek Road, Pendleton.  Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Barker.  Memorials can be made to the Pendleton Food Bank, 4143 Beach Ridge Road, Pendleton, NY or Good Shepherd RC Church.  Flowers can be sent to 5612 Tonawanda Creek Road, Lockport, NY.  Online condolences at www.pruddenandkandt.com.
