Phyllis C. Ebling passed away February 18, 2011 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born August 17, 1923 in Sanborn she was the daughter of Fillmore S. and Olive (Bodle) Marshall. Phyllis graduated from LaSalle High School in Niagara Falls and from the University of Buffalo. She worked as a wheat inspector for Federal Mills in Lockport, before becoming a lab technician for Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Besides her parents Phyllis is also predeceased by her husbands Dr. Floyd Cothran and Michael Ebling.
Phyllis is survived by her children Daniel (Mailly) Cothran of Taiwan, John (Irene) Cothran of Van Couver, WA and Sharon Lange of Pendleton, OR; grandmother of six; sister of Mary (Bob) Corliss Stahl, Charlene (Ronald Smith) Seekins-Smith of Lockport and the late Franklin S. Marshall; sister-in-law of Wilma Marshall of Spencerport, NY; several nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Royalton Mountain Ridge. Donations to the Clinton Street Methodist Church or to Odd Fellows & Rebekah Health Care Facility would be appreciated.
