Obituary of Rev. James B. Washington
Rev. James B. Washington passed away February 3, 2021 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. Born October 1, 1941 in Andrews, SC he was the son of Ezekiel, Sr. and Rosa Belle (Moses) Washington. James served in the US Army and was the pastor in the Lockport area for 42 years at Faith Emmanuel Temple. He enjoyed traveling and riding motorcycle.
James is survived by his wife Georgia (Mims) Washington; children James (Sharee) Washington, Jermaine Washington, and Stuff Cleague; siblings Rebecca Washington and the late Jimmy Washington, Ezekial Washington Jr., and Laura Jean Footman; in-laws Robert (Audrey) Mims; also several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday, February 11th from 11 AM – 12 Noon at Christ Community Church, 140 Genesee St., Lockport where services will follow at 12 Noon. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
