Obituary of Evelyn Strobel

Evelyn Strobel passed away on Tuesday February 2, 2021 at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.  Born in Williamsville, NY on February 18, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Evelyn (nee Kirwan) Edbauer.  She was a member of St. John the Baptist RC Church, enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Evelyn is survived by her husband of 62 years, Norman Strobel; her children Christopher (Stephanie) Strobel, Peter (Ellen) Strobel, Paul (Katherine Maerten) Strobel, John (Kimberly) Strobel, Anne (Chris) Carnahan and Virginia (Nick) Turvey.  She was the sister of Thomas (Shirley) Edbauer, Roger (Diane) Edbauer, Joanne (Robert) Yaeger and the late Howard, Earl and Jerry Edbauer, Marie Roessler, Betty Schmitter and Jane Kieffer.  Evelyn is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no prior visistation.  A Memorial service will be held at a later date.  In Lieu of flowers, memorials St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences at www.pruddenandkandt.com.
