Nancy Conley Obituary

Nancy J. Conley went to be home with her Lord and Savior February 17, 2011 after a long battle of ALS in Newfane Rehab & Health Care Center. Born April 24, 1945 in Lockport she was the daughter of Harold and Mildred (Ackerman) Bowen. Nancy was a telephone operator at Verizon in Williamsville for 19 ½ years retiring in 2008. She was a Den Mother for the Gasport Boy Scouts, a member of the PTA, was very involved on her class reunions and crocheted red, white and blue blankets for the VA Hospital of Buffalo.


Nancy is survived by her children Susan (Chris) Fink of Fort Worth, TX and Jeffrey (Samantha) Conley of Gasport; grandmother of Tesha Ansley, Amanda Andrews, Erin King, Keyla Fink, Caitlin King, Kristin King, Hunter Fink, Kendall Conley and Ian Donohue; great grandmother of Aaron, Richard, Benjamin, Justin and LynnZee; sister of David (Betty) Bowen of Lockport, Mary (Fred) Duchow of Lockport and Sharon (Bill) Peterson of Alleghany; also best friends Pauline & Wayne Bailey of Newfane and several nieces and nephews.


Relatives and friends may call Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 AM. Interment will be in Wright Corners Cemetery. Donations to The ALS Association or to Niagara Hospice would be appreciated.





Visitation

Relatives and friends may call Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.


Services

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 AM in the funeral home.


Interment

Interment will be in Wright Corners Cemetery.
