Obituary of Margaret Lewandowski
Margaret Lewandowski passed away January 15, 2021, peacefully at home under the loving care of her children. Margaret was the daughter of Merrill and Kathryn Dutcher and grew up in Medina, NY. She married Michael Lewandowski in 1957 and was married for 53 years prior to Mike’s passing in 2010. Margaret was a member of St. John the Baptist Church where she served as an eucharistic minister and was also a member of the St. Bridget prayer group. Her devotion to her faith was very strong and admired by those around her.
Margaret was a very loving mother who adored her family. Family dinner was a weekly tradition as well as trips to Florida to see her grandchildren. , Her new great grandson and her grandchildren held a special place in Margaret’s heart.
She is predeceased by her sister Joanne Weaver and brother Paul Dutcher. She is survived by her children Scott(Lynnette) Lewandowski, Kathryn(Lenny) Thomas, and Kenneth(Tracy) Lewandowski; grandchildren TJ(Kira) Davis, Shannon Davis, Brooke Lewandowski, and Erin (John) Steel; and great grandson Kam Alan Davis.
A private funeral will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, donations to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated.
