Obituary of Thomas Eggert

Thomas Martin Eggert passed away February 12, 2011 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born January 11, 1947 in North Tonawanda he was the son of Herbert P.B. and Dorothea (Strothmann) Eggert. Thomas served in the Army from 1966 to 1968. He worked as a tow motor driver for Harrison Radiator. Thomas enjoyed wood working and making cabinets. He was predeceased by his wife Diana (Stephenson) Eggert.
Thomas is survived by his children Todd C. Eggert, April (Carl) Huntington both of North Carolina, Wade Eggert of Lockport, and Nathaniel T. (Michelle) Eggert of North Carolina; step-father of Matthew Bucholtz of Lockport; grandfather of Alec, Adrianna and Austin Huntington, Cassandra Exford, Kelly, William, Alex, Michael, Jayla, Donovan, Caroline Grace and Ethan Eggert, Dustin and Nathan Kirby, Desiree Segura and Madison Riccardi; brother of Carolyn A. Hane of Rochester, Joyce Penwright of Gasport, Audrey Jackson of Pennsylvania, Delores Ferris of Louisiana, James (Carol) Ziegler of North Tonawanda and the late Geraldine Moran, Donald Ziegler and William Eggert; also survived by his dear friend Elaine Morello of Lockport, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
