Obituary of James F. Pittler
James F. Pittler passed away January 3, 2021 in Eastern Niagara Hospital. Born January 7, 1948 in Lockport he was the son of Evelyn (Taylor) Pittler and the late Adelbert Pittler. Jim served in the US Marine Corp and worked for Tops Grocery Store in the maintenance department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing numbers, and especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Jim was predeceased by his wife Beverly A. Pittler on November 3, 2011.
Besides his mother Jim is also survived by his children Jeffery (Hope) Pittler, Lisa Mount, and Jessica L. Pittler; grandchildren Katrina, Jayvon, Dorien, Joshua, Justin, Cameron, Victoria, Able, and Cadence; siblings Linda (Tom) Udell, Catherine (Herb Harmer) Plumb, Anna Pittler, Cora Woodrow, Mark (Christine) Pittler, Kenneth Pittler, Sharon Pittler, and Diana (Mike) Pieniaszek; also several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends may call Monday, Jan. 11th from 11 am – 1 pm in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Interment will be in Royalton Mountain Ridge Cemetery. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
