Obituary of Ronald C. Kamman
Ronald C. Kamman departed this earthly home and entered his heavenly home on January 3, 2021 following a lengthy illness at Lockport Rehab & Health Care Center. He leaves behind his beloved wife of almost 50 years, July 3, 1971, Linda Mae (Bagley) Kamman, his sister-in-law Rhoda Ann (late Daniel) Bagley Harrington. Ronald was the son of the late Arnold and Iva (Persing) Kamman and brother of the late Arnold (Barbara) Kamman. He is also survived by his brother Gerald (Sally) Kamman, sister Nancy Wormuth, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Ronald was also predeceased by two aunts and uncles.
Ronald was born and raised in Wana Ka and graduated from Hamburg High School Class of 1953. He was also a graduate of GMI, Taylor University and Canisius College. He formally attended Bible Baptist Seminary. Ron taught at Grover Cleveland High School for over 25 years as a Mathematics teacher in the Buffalo Public School System. Ron was a member of Eastern Niagara County Retired Teachers Association and Western Zone, a chapter of Retired Educators of New York. He also attended Clinton Street Methodist Church in Lockport. In the summer months, Ron drove charter bus for Grand Island Transit. He made many memorial trips in the states as well as Canada.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday, January 7th from 11 am-1 pm with services following at 1 pm all in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
