Obituary of John Rinehart

John L. Rinehart passed away on December 28, 2020 in Niagara Hospice House. He was born September 1935 in Mt. Holly, New Jersey the son of the late Raymond and Mary (Lucas) Rinehart.

John proudly served our country in the United States Navy. He was the Supervisor of the grounds at the Lockport Town and Country Club for 40 years. In his spare time he loved being outside, building furniture, working on cars and putter around in his garage.  John was a generous caring man who donated to multiple charities.

He was predeceased by his siblings Raymond Rinehart, Joan Anstey and Albert Rinehart. John is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Beverly Jean (Faery) Rinehart; his children,  Paul (Sherry) Rinehart,  Gary (Patti) Rinehart, Elizabeth Rightmeyer, Vicki Coyle and Heather Walek;  His brother Aaron (Pam) Rinehart; 10 beloved grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Private services held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.  Memorial donations to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset DR., Lockport, NY 14094 or to the Alzheimer's Association of WNY, 6215 Sheridan Dr., Suite 100, Buffalo, NY 14221 would be appreciated by the family.
