John J. Spero passed away on December 22, 2020.  He was born on August 9, 1929 in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of the late Joseph and Frances Trippi Spero

John served in the United States Army in Japan from 1946 until 1948.  He worked for the City of Buffalo for 36 years, retiring as a Parks Supervisor. He enjoyed reading, conversation, and a good cup of coffee.

He is survived by his sons David (Kim) Spero, Joseph (Cathleen) Spero and John (Bridgette) Spero; Grandfather of Mara, Grace, Jude, Joshua, Jenna and Jillian.  He is also survived by his sister Joyce (Nick) Spero and two nephews, Joseph and Brian Hartnett. 

There will be no prior visitation.  Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Buffalo, NY.  Online condolence at pruddenandkandt.com.
