Adam John States passed away unexpectedly at home on December 18, 2020. He was born April 18, 1979 in Montgomery, AL, son of Cynthia (Soluri) Smith and the late John Edward States. Adam was a cook at The Davison Road Inn (DRI) and was a sweet, caring young man, a loyal friend to all. He enjoyed cooking, walking, gaming, and fellowship with his friends and family. He is survived by his mother Cyndi from Montgomery, AL (Jake), sisters Lena (William II) Mayo from Mechanicsville, VA, Ryanne (Eric) Caudle from Opelika, AL, Kayla Smith from Montgomery, AL; brother Jacob Smith from Memphis, TN; nieces Sarah Ja’vontee Phillips, Zoe Hagan, Emorie Caudle; nephew Jay Hagan; grandmother Rose States (Destito), great uncle Joe Scarpino, uncles Charles States, Butch States, and Robert States, great aunt Priscilla Allison, aunts Sherrie Klepin, Nicole Carleson, Sandra Brechue, along with several cousins, and many friends. Adam will be truly missed by all those he touched with his lovely smile, tender heart, and his gentle, quiet spirit.
