Obituary of Patricia Cutter
Patricia Cutter passed away on December 7, 2020. Family surrounded her peaceful passing into her forever home with Jesus her Savior. Pat surrendered her life to the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. She was comforted and was anticipating her place in heaven because she knew her sins were forgiven. Pat worked at Lockport Memorial Hospital where she was a respiratory therapist.
The foremost passion to Pat's life was her family, Deborah (Craig) Moody, David Cutter, Donna (Michael) Brundage, Darlene Hudson, Daniel (Cathy) Cutter. Her eleven grandchildren, Jeremy (Rachel) Moody, Colleen Hildebrant, Adam (Jane) Moody, Brett (Alyssa) Moody, Jennifer Cutter, Erica Hudson, Christina Cutter, Brittany Hudson, Sarah ( Jonathan) Sardina, Brandon Cutter and Rebecca Cutter-fondly remember her living room packed each Christmas, (which was probably her second greatest passion, shopping for deals). The family passion carried on to all her 14 great grandchildren.
The family would like express their love and care for a great number of people who were part of Pat's life, thank you for being those fond connections to her well being. To those who line danced, water aerobics, special friends at her winter home in Greenfield Village, Dundee, FL. To her many friends at Saint Mary's in Lockport. The extent of her involvement with the community grows with each memory, to being a Girl Scout leader as well an active participant with all her children's sport programs in Barker, NY. Special tribute to her dear friend Cindy Berninger, a friendship that was a result to the three decades of seasonal camping at Darien Lake.
Pat was recognized and honored for her cooperation in donating her blood plasma twice a week for 30+years. She and another donor were sought after and became the first test subjects for Dr Mohn at the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1967. It was the start of investigations on blood groups in solving problems connected with blood transfusions and hemolytic disease of the newborn. Hence, this became the first successful research and completion to the RhoGAM plasmapheresis program.
Pat will be greatly missed by many, the current conditions of the COVID will hinder those who would normally come in person to pay their respects. Relatives and friends may call on Friday December 11 2020 in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home from 3-6pm where a funeral service will be held at 6pm. Interment in Glenwood Cemetery. In leu of flowers the Family requests memorial contributions be made to: UR Medicine Hospice 2180 Empire Blvd. Webster NY 14580. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
