Jane Baker Obituary

Jane Baker of Lockport passed away February 4th, 2011 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. Born May 25th 1961 in Lockport, she was the daughter of Rosalie Swendson and the late Burt House. Jane worked at K-Mart for 18 years until the closing of the store, then she went to work for Gi-Ro Cleaners and of late was employed by Value Home Center, Lockport. Janie enjoyed time with her children and grandchildren and attending concerts, especially loved Alabama and Jackson. Janie always had a smile on her face even at her most difficult times.


Besides her mother Janie is survived by her children Jason (Christina Trembellos) Baker of Wappinger Falls, NY Richard (Doreen Maerten) Baker, Jr., Cherylynn (Brandon Brinley) Baker and Danielle (Jedidiah Aikin) Baker all of Lockport. She is also survived by her grandchildren Chase Baker, Blaze, Jax, Bianca and Jordan Brinley and Julia Aikin; her fiancée Kevin Seward and her former husband Richard L. Baker, Sr.; sister of Elizabeth Thompson, Linda Caraco, Patricia Rhodes, Tammy Hienrich and the late Millard James Thompson; also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
