Obituary of Michael P. Bechtel
Michael P. Bechtel passed away November 23, 2020 under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born August 21, 1944 in Buffalo he was the son of Edward and Marjorie (Bradley) Bechtel. Michael served in US Army from 1965 to 1967 being awarded the National Defense Service Medal. He worked for Delphi where he was a tinsmith and HVAC journeyman retiring in 2003. Michael loved music, hockey, animals, and gardening. His love of music led him to become a renown drummer in the Buffalo area, he toured Japan and played in many Buffalo bands.
Michael is survived by his wife, whom he married April 4, 1998, Carol (Wnuk) Bechtel; special people in his life Shavonne, Holly (Jeffery) Lynch, and their children; Branden McKenney; and Amber Campinini; also survived by children and grandchildren; brothers David (Patricia) Bechtel, and late Daniel and Patrick Bechtel; also several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
