Obituary of Melissa Ellen Maras
Melissa E. Maras passed away on Friday November 20, 2020. Born in Lockport on February 2, 1977, she was the daughter of Lewis and Patsy (nee Cline) Cunningham. Melissa was a Registered Nurse and worked in the Emergency Room at Millard Filmore Suburban Hospital, but most recently was a Visiting Nurse for Catholic Health Systems. She enjoyed doing crafts and spending time with her Family.
Beside her parents, Melissa is survived by her children, Kayin, Finley and Riley Maras; she is also survived by her sister Theresa (Jeffrey) Marasco and brother Lewis (Erica) Cunningham. Melissa is also survived by her grandfather James Cline and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Tuesday November 24th, 4-7 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. Private funeral services will be Wednesday with an Interment in Acacia Park Cemetery to follow. In Lieu of flowers, memorials to Wendelville Fire Company, would be appreciated by the family.
