Obituary of C. Kingsley Murphy
C. Kingsley “King” Murphy passed away October 6, 2020 in Elderwood at Lockport. Born November 20, 1942 in Lockport he was the son of H. Kingsley and Janella (Elser) Murphy. King worked for 40 years at Harrison Radiator Div of GM retiring as a Design Manager in 2001. He will always be remembered as being a true NY Yankee's Fan!
King is survived by his wife of 19 years, Mary (Adams) Murphy; and daughters Janet (Carlos) Varela of Katy, TX and Ann Elizabeth (Joel) Brown of Frisco, TX; step-daughter Erica (Timothy) Colby of North Easton, MA; grandchildren Carolina Varela, Alexandria Varela, C.J. Varela, and Connor Brown; "Papa" to great grandson Nicolas; furry kids Brady and Riley; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Reg & Cindy Adams; special cousin Bradley (Darcy) Murphy; also many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. King was predeceased by his siblings Gary (Sandra) Murphy, Dianne (Eugene) Reed, and Sandra L. Murphy.
A private graveside service was held in Cold Springs Cemetery. Memorial donations to Niagara Hospice or to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
