Obituary of Alfred Wroblewski
Alfred “Al” Wroblewski passed away September 15, 2020 in Niagara Hospice House. Born May 25, 1929 in Niagara Falls, NY, the was the son of Felix and Gladys (Wozneski) Wroblewski. Al served in the US Navy from 1950 to 1954 being awarded the National Defense Medal. He worked for the government in Youngstown for 20 years and Carborundum for 18 years. He enjoyed bottle collecting, hunting and reading about history. He was very active in politics and his goal was to stir up the conversation to get the public involved.
Al is survived by his wife of 69 years, Reika (McGraw) Wroblewski; children Robert (Tricia) Wroblewski, Robin (John) Kopacz, Peter (Lisa) Wroblewski, Michael Wroblewski, and Michele (LaVerne) Bowen; fifteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren; siblings Nancy Senkulics and Marie (Ronnie) Tyron; also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his other siblings: Danny (Zora) Wroblewski, Ronnie (Patricia) Wrobel, Matthew (late Mary) Wroblewski, Walter (Josephine) Wroblewski, Henry (Helen) Wroblewski, Leo (Catherine) Wroblewski, ski, Jimmy (Judy) Wroblewski, Patsy (John) Lamonti, Estel (Harry) Robson, Jean (Jim) Jeffords, and Richard (Gloria) Wroblewski.
A private family funeral will be held on Monday, Sept. 21st from 1-3 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Visit pruddenandkandt.com. No flowers please due to the covid virus.
