I'm sorry to hear of his passing. I always enjoyed reading his column in the Union Sun and Journal, his sense of humor and his take on the world. Rest in Peace, and God Bless his family (especially his wife, he always spoke highly of her in his column).

Still after moving out to New Mexico, I enjoyed reading his columns in the Union-Sun. Donna,Liz and family, I am so sad to read of Norb’s passing. He was a really nice guy. I remember speaking to him on several occasions in connection to Relay For Life. He was a strong man and a real fighter. I hope that your memories with him will provide peace and comfort for you in the days and months that lie ahead.

One thing not many people know, is that Dad and I were like oil and water for a few years... but as Heidi would say, it's because we are too much alike. I'm sure at some point, I'll think of something funny to post, but for now, I'll just leave it at this. I kind of feel uncomfortable when someone says I'm a good dad... It's odd for me to think that being a 'good dad' is something extraordinary. I guess that's just what happens when you have a good example.

So sorry to hear of Norbs passing. As his cousin I have many fond memories of him and his brother and sister. We spent many evenings playing tag and hide and seek, and the player piano. I fondly remember when Donna and Norb came to visit me when I lived in Hartford, CT. I hope y'all enjoyed the leftovers. I appreciated his caring attention to my divorce. I hope that column helped others. He was a very special person, I will miss him.
