Obituary of Daniel William Nye
Daniel W. Nye passed away in his home with family by his side August 18, 2020 under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born January 28, 1953 in Niagara Falls he was the son of the late Russell J. and Sally Ann (Strange) Nye. Daniel worked for DG Trucking in Niagara Falls where he was a truck driver.
Daniel is survived by his wife of 50 years Linda (Schuler) Nye; children Gregory (Kimberly) Nye and Jennifer (Thomas) Wrate; grandchildren Tyler, Christopher, and Kelsey Nye, Owen and Collin Wrate; brothers Richard (Candace), Russell (Cathy), William (Connie), Joseph (Dawn), and Patrick (Amy); also several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Sunday, Aug. 23rd from 1-5 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Funeral services will be held Monday, Aug. 24th at 10 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 453 Old Falls Blvd., North Tonawanda. Interment will be in St. Paul Lutheran cemetery.
