Marlene L. Means passed away August 3, 2020 under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born December 22, 1962 in Niagara Falls she was the daughter of RD and the late Ruth (Lewis) Nix.  Marlene worked for the Lockport City School District where she was a lunch lady at the high school.  She enjoyed shopping, music, and dancing and loved red roses. Marlene was a beautiful person inside and out. Her daughters will always have the memories of what a wonderful mother she was.

Marlene is survived by her husband Jesse Means; children Manuel Nix, Maya Means, and Mariana Means and step-mother of Tonyetta Means, Shannon (Adam) Means-John and Kenneth Means; grandchildren Mariah Converso, Isabella Ruiz, and Maribella Converso; siblings Karen (Melvin) Jackson, Deborah (Tony) Chamber, Robert Nix, Lonnie (Michael) Harden, and late William and Laurie Nix; a host of nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
