Obituary of Sandra A. Smith

Sandra ‘Sandie’ A. (Rohde) Smith passed away suddenly July 7, 2020 in Eastern Niagara Hospital.  Born July 11, 1939 in Lockport she was the daughter of Edwin and Margaret (Duttweiler) Rohde.  Sandie was a life member of the Lockport Junior Service League and also Trinity Lutheran Church where she was the secretary for over 30 years.  She also volunteered at the Kenan Center and with the American Cancer Society selling the daffodils, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Sandie is survived by her husband of 62 years Dudley Smith; children Stephen Smith, Gregory Smith, and Kimberly (Peter) Cirocco; grandchildren Alyssa, Alex, and Quintessa; brother Ronnie Rohde; nieces Jackie, Beth, and Andrea (Rob); several great nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Friday, July 10th from 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 11th at 10 AM in Trinity Lutheran Church, 67 Saxton St., Lockport.  Private interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the  Church or to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
