Obituary of Peter Harris
It is with great sadness, Peter Terrence Harris, was called home by the Creator on July 2, 2020, after a short illness. Peter was born February 10, 1960, to Cecil Harris and Eva General. The 3rd oldest of 12, he was born in Ohsweken, Ontario and was a member of the Onondaga Tribe of the Six Nations Reserve. He took great pride in his heritage and had always planned to move back to the reservation once he retired. Peter worked full time at Norton Pulpstone in Lockport for the last six years. In his free time he enjoyed watching documentaries, playing pool, spending time with his children and grandchildren, and playing with his dogs: Degahoe and Ace. Peter was an avid Batman fan and collected anything and everything that was Batman. He loved his family and would do anything for any of them.
Peter leaves behind five children: Jennifer (Greg) Benz, Cinnamone Harris, Cheylynne Harris, Sanita John-Harris and Stone Styres. As well as seven grandchildren: Saige McKinney, Lavel Ewing, Kaiohma McKinney, Skotlana Benz, Camillah Ewing, Kashmir Wright and Kasiah Wright.
