Francis F. Patterson passed away January 21, 2011 in Briody Health Care Facility. Born September 6, 1928 in Batavia he was the son of Francis and Grace (Caven) Patterson. Francis served in the US Army during the Korean War and was awarded the Korean Service Medal, Bronze Star and the United Nations Service Medal. He worked as a shop steward for Monroe Tractor in Cheektowaga. Francis was predeceased by his wife Sally (Stadel) Patterson on May 25, 2003. Francis is survived by his children Deborah (Paul) Bielec of Grand Island, Kathleen Crissey of Williamsville, Glenn (Judith) Patterson of Hornell, Susan (Mark) Reed of Albion, Melissa (Mark) Allen of Lockport and Robert Patterson of Lancaster; grandfather of thirteen and great grandfather of three. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service Friday at 11 AM in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1080 Main Street, Buffalo. Donations to the Briody Health Care Facility Scholarship Fund, 909 Lincoln Ave., Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated.
