Joyce A. Ast passed away on June 26, 2020 in Niagara Hospice House surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 18, 1930 in Buffalo, NY a daughter of James and Delores (Smith) McManus. Joyce married Gerald Ast in 1953. They were married for 61 years before his passing in 2014. Joyce worked at Buffalo General Hospital, Arners Medical and Tops in Grand Island. She loved spending time with her family.

Joyce was predeceased by her husband Gerald and siblings Sheldon McManus and Gerald McManus. She is survived by her children Paul R. (Donna) Ast, Debbi Leyland; grandchildren Rick (Mylagh) Leyland, Brent Ast, Bradley (Nicole) Ast, Todd (Melissa) Duplantis; brother Thomas McManus.
