Obituary of Rick Wagner

Richard “Rick” R. Wagner passed away unexpectedly June 13, 2020.  Born October 7, 1959 in Buffalo he was the son of Robert and Pauline (Bauer) Wagner.  Rick was a 1977 graduate from Starpoint High School, earned his master’s degree at the University at Buffalo. A Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional, Rick served as CFO for Quackenbush Co., Inc. since 2005.  Rick was Vice President of the Niagara Frontier chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association.  He was on the board of directors for the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractor’s National Association – Buffalo Chapter and served as a trustee for Local 71 Sheet Metal Workers.  Rick was a devoted husband, proud Navy dad and proud soon to be Canisus soccer Dad.  He enjoyed being with family, friends; watching his son play soccer, golfing and traveling. 

Rick is survived by his wife Robyn (Fabian) Wagner whom he married January 28, 1997; children Robert and Riley Wagner; siblings Suzanne (Thomas) Glynn and Steven (Rebecca) Wagner. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and cousins.
