Gertrude M. Matheis passed away June 11, 2020 in Elderwood at Wheatfield. Born June 27, 1925 in Tonawanda she was the daughter of Philip and Rosa (Schenle) Krull. Gertrude worked in production for RJ Reynolds in Lockport. She was predeceased by her husband of 73 years, Herbert Matheis on April 23, 2020
Gertrude is survived by her two sons Robert (Naomi) Matheis and Kenneth (Sandy) Matheis; grandchildren Robert (Bianca) Matheis Jr., Philip Matheis, and Susan Matheis; sisters Helen (late Frank) Loiars and Dorothy Bald; several nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services will be held. Interment will be in White Chapel Memorial Park. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
