Obituary of Sonja Bonnie Snowden

Sonja “Bonnie” Snowden passed away June 7, 2020 in Eastern Niagara Hospital.  Born September 4, 1953 in Rochester, NY she was the daughter of David Reed and Frances Rose Blackmon.  Sonja worked for Fisher Price in Medina for 20 years and worked for Job Corp in Medina for 17 years where she was a student/staff supervisor.  She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church where she belonged to the Bible Study Group.  Sonja enjoyed playing golf, going on vacations, movies, and especially loved being with her family.  She was predeceased by her sister Deborah Riddick.

 

Sonja is survived by her husband of 15 years Curtis Snowden; children Melissa Torbert, Vivian (Anthony) Billie, Dazell (Jackie) Taylor, Jr., Shantell Taylor, and Valerie Taylor; step-children Curtis (Ashley) Snowden, Jr. and Ashley Snowden; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings Frances (Steve) Huston, Mary Ann Bell, Marico “Tony” (John) Wright, Maddie (Michael) Narcisse, Tina (Jeffrey) Fort, Melissa Woods, and John Blackmon, Jr.; also several nieces and nephews.

 

Private services will be held.  Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
