Obituary of Felix Ratajczak
Felix (Sonny) R. Ratajczak passed away June 3, 2020 under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born February 16, 1944 in Buffalo he was the son of Felix and Helen (Stalica) Ratajczak. Felix served in the US Navy from 1962 to 1965 aboard the USS Joseph P. Kennedy Jr. He worked for Local 71 Sheet Metal Workers Union from 1967 to 1987 at Georgen-Mackwirth. Also from 1988 to 2000 he was a tinsmith in the Local UAW 686 at General Motors. Felix enjoyed watching his grandsons playing sports, bowling, going to the casino, golfing, hunting and fishing, horse racing, spending time on his property, his weekly breakfast meetings with friends, classic cars, but most importantly spending time with his family. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 50 years, Carol (Wozniak) Ratajczak on August 26, 2019.
Felix is survived by his children Robert (Kimberly) Ratajczak and Stacey (Bret) Wolter; grandsons Dylan Ratajczak, Nathan and Nolan Wolter; sister Dolly Handzlik, John, Valorie, John, and Christina Wozniak, and his late sisters Dorothy Drabek, Elenor Kohl, and Florence Gajewski; also several nieces and nephews.
