Lawrence D. Grimes passed away on May 16, 2020. He was born on July 31, 1936 in Medina, NY a son of Stanley and Grace (Holmes) Grimes. Larry was an inspector for Harrison Radiator. He proudly served our country in the United States Army from 1953-1956. He was a member of the American Legion. Larry loved to hunt, fish, go horseback riding. He enjoyed anything military and was a Civil War buff. Larry was predeceased by his wife Joyce (Hahn) Grimes on March 30, 2020, son Douglas Grimes and siblings Stanley Grimes and Peggy Franklin. He is survived by his children Cindy Rising, Mary Gugliuzza, Sheila (David) Montanez, Scott (Fred) Grimes Lawrence (Francine) Grimes; grandchildren Derek, Bethany, Timothy Rising, Jason Grimes, Samantha Cleveley, Sarah Meyer, Nicole Butcher, Melissa Mitchell, Kristen Ginzel, Jessica, Hunter Grimes; 7 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; siblings Thomas (Sharon) Grimes, John (Rita) Grimes, Mary F. Grimes ; Also survived by several sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
