Obituary of Barbara A. Detschner

Barbara A. Detschner passed away on April 17,2020 at Lockport Rehab after a long illness. Born August 20th 1938 in Lockport, NY she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Margaret (Lute) Donner and was the wife of the late David J. Detschner who passed away February 3, 2005. Barbara is survived by her sons Davey (Audrey), Duane (Donna), Doug Detschner and daughter Diane (Veril) Crimi; grandsons David (Renee) Detschner, Stephen Zimmerman and Christopher Danielwicz. She is also the sister of Shirley Harris and the late Raymond Donner; sister in law of Thea Russell, Leni (Fran) Strong, Susan (Larry) Koch, Denis (Cheryl) Detschner and the late Dale Detschner; Special uncle Richard (Pat) Lute. Barbara is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Barbara was also a mother, grandmother and aunt to many others. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and her doors were always open to anyone. Private funeral service and interment in Acacia Park Cemetery for immediate family only will be held. Relatives and friends will be invited to Live Stream the Funeral Service on YouTube through Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home’s Channel on Monday April 20th at 1 PM.
