Ann Marie Grout (nee Lickfeld) passed away on Wednesday April 15, 2020 at Newfane Rehab and Health Care Facility of complications of Covid-19. Born in Buffalo on March 27, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Milford L. and Anna M. (Ferguson) Lickfeld. Ann was a schoolteacher for over 25 years at St. Francis of Assisi Elementary in Hamburg, NY and later retired from GMAC Finance Corp. She was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star and enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandson. Ann is survived by her husband, James Grout; mother of Jeffrey (Alicia Carr) Glow of Stoney Beach, MD and Melissa (Steve) Forant of Wellford, SC; grandmother of James Kress; step-mother of Tony Grout and family of Boynton Beach, FL , Chad (Amy) Grout and family of Charlotte, NC and Gina Grout of Lockport, NY. Ann was the sister of the late Alice (Sherwood) McGraw of Orchard Park and Milford C. (Arlene) Lickfeld of Hamburg, NY. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family and loving friends. There will be no prior visitation. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
