Obituary of Sylvia Wheaton

Sylvia Elsie Wheaton went to be with her Lord and Savior January 8, 2011. Born January 29, 1936 in Lockport, she was the daughter of the late Clesson and Elsie (Lotz) Wright. Sylvia married Perry E. Wheaton February 8th, 1957, he passed away September 18th, 1969. Very active in her church the Lockport Assembly of God Church where she was Sunday school teacher and Nursery Care Aide for over 30 years. Sylvia worked in Food Service at Lockport Memorial Hospital for 32 years, retiring in 1992. Sylvia's favorite past time was spending time with her family. Sylvia is the mother of Judith Ann Wheaton of Lockport; sister of Betty (David) Bowen, Linda (George) Warren, Deanna (Allan) English all of Lockport, Walter Wright of Perrysburg, NY and the late Clesson, Ronald and Douglas Wright. She also was predeceased by her nephew Christopher English in February 2006. Friends may call Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Prudden &amp; Krandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at 11 AM. Interment will be in Wrights Corners Cemetery.
