Sarah Lee Price passed away March 21, 2020 in Buffalo General Medical center. Born October 23, 1941 in Walnut Hill, FL she was the daughter of Henry and Virginia (Kirkland) McDowell. Sarah worked at Harrison radiator where she was an inspector retiring in 1992. She was known throughout the community feeding and clothing people and her loving kindness toward the less fortunate. Sarah has a passion for singing and loved attending church services.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years Joe Price; children Desmond (Tracy) Price, Christopher (Mary) Price, Linda Johnson, Stella (Elbert) Stinson, and late John Dortch, Joe Price, Jr., Evelyn Price, and Ismael Lewis; fifteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren; siblings Henry, Sidney (Earlin), Eugene, Roy (Shirley) McDowell, Ernestine Maxwell, Dorothy Washington, and late Armie Lee Brown, Ledrose McDowell, Donnie Mae Patterson, Ella Mae McDowell and Willie McDowell; a host of nieces and nephews.
Private services held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
