As the Resident Programs Manager at Brookdale-Florham Park, NJ, I had the wonderful pleasure of getting to know Marilyn and her devoted loving daughter Beth. From the first day we met, Marilyn always had a warm smile on her face and a twinkle in her eyes. She loved when we would go on outings to restaurants and shopping. She never complained about anything...ever. She was patient and such a soft spoken classy lady.
I cried when I got the news. My tears were for her, her family and also for selfish reasons, as I would not see her sunny smile on a daily basis, or have the company of Beth on our outings. I would playfully tease her about speeding in her cart, which now that I see she was a fan of a Nascar driver, I understand why she was such a good driver.
You were very blessed to have her in your lives and having a mother that was so devoted and loving. The world and Brookdale was a better place for having her in it. Thank you for sharing this lovely lady with me. I never say good-bye...just until we meet again!
Love,
