Obituary of Linda J. Grassman

Linda J. (Wilson) Grassman passed away on Friday, March 13, 2020 from breast cancer. The long time Lockport, NY resident, originally from Moravia, NY, was born on April 26, 1943 and was the daughter of the late Clifford and Winifred (Wright) Bennett. Linda worked for NYSEG for 33 years, many of them at Somerset Station in Barker, NY. Following her retirement, Linda and her husband spent several years traveling the country in their RV, working at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, TN, and Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL, before settling in Pharr, TX. She had a love for sewing, quilting and knitting.
Linda is predeceased by brother, Lyle Bennett, and her nephew, Phil Bennett. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Grassman, her daughter, Dianna (Jeff) Stover, her step-daughters, Dawn Seiwell, and Denene Larson, along with her grandchildren, Jordan Stover, Krystal Schall, Dustin Schall, Shari Lyn (Derek) Jaskula, Bailey Larson, Jamie Larson, 4 great-grandchildren, and many friends from across the country.
There will be no services. Donations to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
