Obituary of John J. Cull

John J. Cull passed away February 10", 2020, at the age of 94. Born in Ogdensburg NY, he moved to Lockport at age 14 to live with his aunt, Lenora Cull McAfee. Beloved husband of the late Carol June (Andrews) Cull, John enjoyed a 20 year career at NYS Electric & Gas, taught creative writing at Genesee Community College, and was an award-winning author of many novels and poems. Among John's many passions were theater, classical music, and classic films and books.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, March 4th at 10 AM in Saint John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport, followed by burial at Glenwood Cemetery. A Memorial Service will also be held at Absolut Care Nursing Home on March 15th at 2pm.
