Claude “Bud” O. Dietz passed away on Saturday January 18, 2020.  Born in Lockport on July 7, 1929, he was the son of the late Oliver and Hazel Claude Dietz.   Bud served in the US Army in 1951 during the Korean Conflict.  He retired from GM Powertrain in Tonawanda in 1989, after working for 35 years in security.  Bud is predeceased by his wife, Suzanne (Easton) Dietz, who passed away on May 26, 2014, and his sons Michael and Christopher, his daughter Cynthia and his sister Gloria Chaffee.

Bud is survived by his daughters Paula (Barry) Jones and Sheryl (Peter) Underhill; nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren.  He is also survived by his sister Carol Gamble and several nieces and nephews.

Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery on Friday, July 31st at 11 AM.  Online condolences at www.pruddenandkandt.com.
