Laura Belle Billingsley (nee Martin), age 98, passed away into New Life at Briody's Nursing Home on Wednesday, January 8, 2020. She was born in Emporium, Pennsylvania on November 24, 1921. Laura was an avid knitter, a crossword enthusiast and a lover of music & singing. She was active in her church. Loving mother of Gary (Sheila) Billingsley, Bob (Karen) Billingsley, and Janis (Jack) Billingsley-Pittsley; grandmother of Eric (Ann) Smith, Phillip (Sarah) Smith, Katie (Shane) Phillips & John Billingsley; great grandmother of Natalie, Erica, Rowyn & Sonia and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Laura is predeceased by her husband, Donald Billingsley, parents Clipson Martin & Dessie Lewis Martin, brother Lewis "Casey" Martin, sisters Helen Hagen & Louise Class. The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 12, 2020 at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Celebration of Life will follow with Rev. Patricia Ludwig officiating, at 3 PM.
