Obituary of Waite C. Wittlinger

Waite C. Wittlinger passed away December 24, 2019. Born October 25, 1929 in Lockport he was the son of Clayton and Ester (Claude) Wittlinger. Waite served in the US Navy from 1950 to 1954 and worked at Harrison Radiator for 38 years where he was a receiving inspector. He was a life member of the Rapids Fire Company, the Rapids Exempt, and a founding member of the Rapids Rod & Gun Club. Waite enjoyed hunting, tinkering and fixing things in his basement.
Waite is survived by his wife of 69 years Gloria (Bremer) Wittlinger; two sons Michael (Penny) Wittlinger and Thomas (Ann) Wittlinger; grandchildren Lyndsey (Chris) Kobee Ryan Wittlinger, Lauren (Dennis) Kevell, and Casey Wittlinger; great grandchild Aeryn Kobee; brothers Thomas (Sarah) Wittlinger and late Winton Wittlinger; sister-in-law Gloria Wittlinger; also several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited a funeral service Monday, Dec. 30th at 10 AM in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 7700 Goodrich Rd., Clarence Center, NY. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
