Carol M. Humphreys, of Lockport, passed away December 22, 2010 in Buffalo General Hospital. Born May 21, 1937 in Royalton she was the daughter of Carlton and Ethel (Kelkenberg) Middaugh. Carol worked for the Akron Central School District where she was a secretary. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Lockport for 49 years and played piano with Ray Middaugh, her brother, at several weddings and churches. Carol is survived by her husband of 49 years whom she married November 4, 1961, Walter C. Humphreys Jr. of Lockport; mother of Denise Sulick of Lockport, W. Clayton Humphreys, III of Royalton, Colleen (William) Horn of Lockport, Brian (Anita) Humphreys of Lockport and the late Douglas C. Humphreys; grandmother of Andrew J. Sulick, Samantha E. Horn and Matthew Horn; sister of the late Ray Middaugh. Relatives and friends may call Monday 1-4 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where a memorial service will follow at 5 PM.
