Iona Thomas passed away December 7, 2019 in Buffalo General Medical Center.  Born December 28, 1944 in Savannah, GA she was the daughter of Frank and Wilhelmina (McKinney) Thomson.  She worked for Peter’s Dry Cleaning for several years where she was a seamstress.  Iona enjoyed sewing, working on arts and crafts, and gardening.  She was predeceased by her husband Leon Thomas in 2011.

Iona is survived by her children Kenneth (Barbara) Thompson, Wilhelmina Smith, Grace L. Wilson, Juanita Davis, and William Davis, III; eleven grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren; siblings George Thomson, Carolyn Thomson, and late Helen Golden; also several nieces and nephews.
