Obituary of Patricia D. Calamita

Patricia D. Calamita (Megra) passed away November 11, 2019 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.  Born March 6, 1951 in Buffalo she was the daughter of the late Paul D. Durning and Mary (late Daniel) Lorincz Nowatzki.  Patricia worked at Inter-Community Memorial Hospital, Newfane where she was a medical surgical clerk.  She enjoyed cooking, baking, spending time with her family and loved God.  Patricia put her children and grandchildren first. She lit us up with her heart of gold and found comfort in teaching us love and filling our souls with laughter.

Patricia is survived by her daughters Gina Calamita, Lisa (Zachary) Hayse, Renee (Edward) Acosta, Nicole (late Troy Hodge) Calamita, Melissa (George) Wiley IV, and Stephanie Patcyk; grandchildren Ashley, Desiree, David, Avery, Philip, Tyler, Jeremy, Gianna, Tamara, George V, Bailee, Kennedy, Christian, and Mila; great grandchildren Rylan and Cameron; siblings Janet Yuschik, Michael (Karen) Durning, and late Kathleen Fishback and Linda Gonzalez; several nieces, nephews, and her dog Doodle.

Relatives and friends may call Saturday, Nov. 16th from 12-2 PM with memorial services following at 2 PM all in The Chapel at CrossPoint, 500 Crosspoint Pkwy., Getzville.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
