Obituary of Mary E. Mullaney
Mary E. Mullaney passed away on Saturday November 9, 2019, at Hospice of Buffalo. Born in Niagara Falls on November 4, 1929, she was the daughter of the late John E. and Addie Mary Lajoie McDonald. Mary retired from Harrison Radiator, where she worked in production and as an Inspector. She was predeceased by her husband, George T. Mullaney, who passed away in 2008.
Mary was the mother of Thomas J. (Cheryl) Mullaney, David F. (Debby) Mullaney, Rosemary (John) Garvey, Jean Marie (Jeff) Sauvain and the late Karen (Brian) Yates. Grandmother of Jennifer (deceased), Thomas, Colleen, Mary, Katie, Megan, Kelly, Brian, Hanna, and Henry. She was the great grandmother of Joseph, Jonathan, Evan, Ethan, Luke, Jocelyn, Allegra, Madelyn, and Jameson. Mary was the sister of Alvin McDonald and the late John McDonald. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Mary loved to swim, garden, ice skate, and embroidery. She was always such a gracious host, with her door open to all. She loved to laugh and spend time with her friends, family, and cat Ollie. Mary was one of the most genuine, forgiving, classy, women around. If you knew her, you were lucky. We were blessed to have so many wonderful years with her.
